Butler and Connecticut face off tonight for the national title

The headline:  The dream continues for Butler, UConn

The summary:  In perhaps one of the unlikeliest NCAA Championship matchups, the 3rd seeded Connecticut Huskies faces the mid-major powerhouse and 8th seeded Butler Bulldogs for the title.

The reaction:  In what has become one of the most unpredictable NCAA tournaments in history, this final game matchup seems fitting.  Butler made an almost unimaginable run to the title game last year before falling to Duke.  That team was considered better than this year’s version but in even greater unimaginable fashion Butler returns to the title game tonight for another shot at the elusive championship.  Their opponent – the Connecticut Huskies, a team that was considered in a rebuilding phase and wasn’t anywhere near the top 25 at the beginning of the season.  Personally, I’m rooting for Butler.  I love the underdog/small school story.  But regardless of the winner, what a postseason this has been!
