Kloppenburg wins Wisconsin Supreme Court seat (for now)

The headline:  With 100% of vote counted, Kloppenburg clings to narrow lead; recount expected

The summary:  JoAnne Kloppenburg defeats incumbent David Prosser by 204 votes in the Wisconsin Supreme Court election.  Recounts are expected.

The reaction:  If this result sticks, it’s a blow for the Scott Walker administration in Wisconsin.  This would put liberals ahead 4-3 on the state’s Supreme Court and possibly make it difficult for Walker to push his anti-union bill through the court system if it comes to it.

One thing’s for sure though.  These results won’t be official for a while.  Let the recounts begin!
