The headline:  Fresh quake triggers tsunami warning in Japan

The summary:  A 7.4 earthquake off the coast of Japan, the biggest since the huge 9.0 quake on March 11, has triggered fresh fears at the Fukushima nuclear plant and tsunami warnings for Japan.

The reaction:  Thankfully, it appears that this quake didn’t have the devastating effects that last month’s megaquake did.  Tsunami warnings were lifted shortly after the quake and it appears that the Fukushima plant is still intact and functioning.  No casualties have been reported.

The nation of Japan has been through enough in the last month and hopes are that this latest earthquake won’t be a major setback.  Initial reports seem positive and if no lives are lost then we can be thankful.
