Barry Bonds trial goes to jury

The headline:  Barry Bonds case in hands of jury

The summary:  The Barry Bonds trial, in which faces three counts of making false statements and one count of obstruction of justice, has wrapped up and is now in the hands of the jury.

The reaction:  This trial was highlighted by accusations, lies and (allegedly) shrinking testicles.  Bonds is facing 10 years in prison on each count but it’s unlikely he spends nearly that much time in jail even if he is convicted.

It’s tough to say what the verdict here will be.  The fact that the defense didn’t call a single witness leads people to believe that they think they have the verdict in their favor.  There’s a lot of evidence against Bonds though.  I’m leaning towards not guilty.
