2011 budget cuts revealed

The headline:  2011 budget cuts revealed

The link:  http://money.cnn.com/2011/04/12/news/economy/2011_budget_cuts/index.htm?hpt=T2

The summary:  CNN provides a full list of all of the $28 billion in budget cuts agreed upon by lawmakers to get the recent budget deal passed.

The reaction:  This is quite the interesting list and you can quickly see that there were cuts made across the board (link can be found here).  High speed rail, the WIC program and military construction spending all take big hits.

It’s nice to see some transparency in this.  So much of what the government does is shrouded in secrecy (or at least uncertainty).
